Still, it rides on a wheelbase that’s longer than its competitors from Honda (the CR-V) and Toyota (the RAV4), and offers an available V-6 engine that neither can match. The Tuscon comes wrapped in muscular styling that’s highlighted by deeply carved hood lines and a raked roof line. Read the entire review.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The Santa Fe remains a tastefully designed and well-executed small car-based SUV. It performs adequately, handles reasonably well and provides decent comfort and value, with a choice of front- or all-wheel drive and offers standard side-impact airbags. The vehicle comes standard with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 138-horsepower with and a five-speed manual transmission; a 173-horsepower 2.7-liter V-6 engine and four-speed Shiftronic automatic that provides manual gear changes are optional.
