Thanks to Jim Edwards for his first blog contribution. Jim is one of our Used Car Corporate Inventory Specialists and all around cool car dude.

Its almost 2009 for most people. But, its been ‘09 for us in the car business for a few months already. Personally, the wheels make the ride. I checked out some new models for ‘09 and came up with a list of the Top 10 Factory Wheels of 2009.

Everyone wants to look good driving down the road. Be smart…wait for the new model hype to fade and get the best deal possible on a slightly used model…

Chevy Impala

10 – Chevrolet Impala SS | A 20” wheel with a ton of surface area. These wheels add a sporty twist to your everyday looking impala.

Mustang Cobra

9 – Ford Mustang Cobra | Classic muscle car wheel, even though these wheels have been around for a while, they look great in chrome.

BMW X6

8 – BMW X6 | New BMW model with a great 5 spoke wheel, adds a sporty feel to a mid-size SUV.

Cadillac CTS-V

7 -  Cadillac CTS-V | An intense wheel for an intense car. The CTS-V is like a tuxedo with a jetpack.

Lexus GS Hybrid

6 – Lexus GS Hybrid | Unique five spoke pattern which makes the GS Hybrid look luxurious yet sporty.

Dodge Challenger R/T

5 – Dodge Challenger R/T | Giant five spoke scheme which compliments this throwback muscle car perfectly.

Acura TL

4 – Acura TL | I like these how these wheels form the letter “A” where each spoke splits, perfect for Acura.

Audi R8

3 – Audi R8 | Huge split five spoke wheels make this race car look like no other.  Let me say that again. Huge. And expensive.

BMW 650i coupe

2 – BMW 650i coupe | Great traditional wheel design on what I think is the nicest BMW out there.

Audi S4

1 – Audi S4 | Just an amazing design makes it different than all the wheels I looked out there. These wheels just look fast. Perfect for an S4.

Did I leave anything out? Let me know if you think of others…

Jim
