We’re one step closer to seeing a Google Car. The Roewe 350 is slated for an April 23rd release.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Roewe 350 will be made by SAIC )Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation
- Google Android version 2.1 will be installed in the GPS computer (As used ithin the Nexus One & Motorola Droid.
- Full GPS directional capabilities
- Full web browsing capabilities including online chat
How is this significant?
Unfortunately, it looks like Google had no input on the design of the vehicle; there is nothing memorable about this vehicle’s appearance.
