What Would Jesus Drive?

Happy Easter!

What better day to ask:  WWJD – What Would Jesus Drive?

Here are some key points:

  • He’s the Son of God – his Dad would probably get him whatever car he asked for
  • In keeping with the general theme, he’d want a car that has also been resurrected
  • He’d want something enthusiasts considered divine
  • He’d need something fast – to help him quickly “Preach the good news of the Kingdom of God”
  • I don’t think fuel economy would be an issue given his “water to wine” abilities; water to gas isn’t too far of a stretch.
  • Many would argue that room for his 12 disciples is important; contrary to popular belief only three of them would come with him on special occasions. So, seating capacity isn’t a major factor

Based on my quick, non-scientific, non-religious analysis, Jesus would most likely drive a Chevrolet Camaro.

The only lingering questions: Would he buy it new, hold out for a used car, or would he consider a classic like a 1970 Camaro?

So, what do you think Jesus would drive?

Interesting … and the car looks like a great choice.

He was a carpenter, so these days he would prolly drive a fifth wheel diesel with a crew cab.

Great post. Just some additional questions assuming he does need to drive a car (with all the walk on water stuff he didnt really need a boat) :-) .

Will he drive an Autobox or a Manual ? :-) . Also I would think he would wait for the Camaro Convertible to be launched. Also what would be the color ? :-)

So he cares for mileage not performance – guess you wont catch him in a Prius or Insight. Also would he drive this car to track events- guess I should stop now or I what I type would be considered blasphemy.

Ouch – I mistyped my last line – it should have read performance not mileage – sorry.
