GM’s Solution. 2 Wheels? Really?

Mounting debt, increasing health care costs and out of control union costs continue to hurt GM.

Has GM and Segway found the miracle of life for the automotive industry? If you based your reality on the media, you would think GM’s cure relies solely on reducing the modern vehicle down to a self-propelled rickshaw.

Has our ADD culture reached new heights and affected car designers as well? Are we destined to becoming individuals zipping around in a suicide-box as we blue-tooth our way through the day and provide our friends with 140 character updates?

Here’s the breakdown of this wheelchair on steroids:

  • It actually has 6 wheels; 2 primary and 4 “Oh Crap” wheels
  • A front grill appropriate for generating ad revenue I suppose; safety properties consistent with balsa wood
  • Sneeze-guard/Roof
  • Seating for two; comfort level parallels the world’s finest roller coaster seats

For now, I’ll stick with a roomy used car.

Or until my ADD kicks in.

GM is losing $100 million dollars per day and they’re wasting their money on this thing. Something is desperately wrong with this company; they need to get their priorities back in order.
