‘08 was more than interesting as the first half of the year began with a frantic pace of new and used cars sales, then we saw frighteningly high gas prices and ended with a bizarre bank melt-down which led into the equally buzz-worthy bailout scenario for US automakers.

‘09 will surely begin with excitement as the bailout fervor continues, President Obama takes office and the car industry undoubtedly makes some much anticipated - and needed - changes.
