    Thanks Eric,

    * What was your first car? A Beat-up Mercury Lynx Station Wagon
    * Any significant memories w/that car? I remember accidentally kicking in a tail light when I was trying to kick the back door shut (it didn’t close very well). I then got pulled over by a cop later on down the road for a broken tail light. Fortunately he only gave me a warning.
    * What’s parked in your driveway now? A 2000 Ford F-150 - I’m a Ford nut
    * Does your car reflect your personality? If so, how? Yes - deep down I’m a Texan, and Texans drive trucks. I even put a little Texas flag on the back of it. I should also add that my rear window has a Facebook sticker in it.
    * Favorite vehicle(s)? Ford Mustang, Chevy Corvette
    * Favorite vehicle…if money were no object? Lamborghini of any sort
    * Vanity Plates? If so - what’s on them? Yes - USE PERL - I’m a Perl developer at heart.
    * Must have car gadget? Monster iCruze, but it doesn’t work with the iPhone unfortunately. It’s nice to have thousands of songs at my fingertips via my built-in stereo.
    * Favorite driving tunes? I’m not picky - I like just about everything. Some times you’ll find some old school Michael Jackson on there though.
    * Favorite Hollywood movie car? That’s a tough one - I think the car from “Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang” was pretty cool. Hey, it could fly - how many other movie cars can you say fly? For coolness-factor I’d have to say Kit from Knight Rider was pretty cool. I’m a sucker for gadgets and it took the cake. (unless of course you include the Batmobile)

  2. Alicia Jones Says:

    Hi Eric,
Thanks so much for the invite. Those are fun questions. — I love the memory
    of your first car.

What was your first car? ‘76 Ford extended bed pickup (with a huge
red homemade toolbox in back). The family “work truck” also served
the purpose of “first car” in my house.
Any significant memories w/that car? Laying in the back with the
tailgate down and starring at the stars, contemplating life (and boys
of course, hey, I was 16!)
What’s parked in your driveway now? Acura RDX
Does your car reflect your personality? If so, how? I think so…
functional yet sporty with a little style and a lot of get up and go.
Favorite vehicle(s)? My Honda Rebel (its a small bike, but its all
    mine!)
Favorite vehicle…if money were no object? So this will sound very
“corporate” of me but seriously, money were no object, HondaJet …
to get me over LA traffic and out of the lines at LAX!
Vanity Plates? If so - what’s on them? Nah, not my thing.
Must have car gadget? Bluetooth and Navi… oh, and XM… yeah, all
three are a must. Love my gizmos.
Favorite driving tunes? Anything on XM Chill. Especially good for the
    ride home from work.
Favorite Hollywood movie car? Tow Mater.

  3. Chris Cree Says:

    * What was your first car? I learned to drive in a pale yellow ‘79 Subaru 4WD wagon. No A/C, 4 speed stick, pure plastic interior, and it could go most anywhere.
    * Any significant memories w/that car? That Subaru only got stuck twice the entire time we owned it. The first time Mom drove 30 miles home from work during a freak April snow storm over unplowed roads. Picked up 3 stranded coworkers in a 4×4 truck that had gotten stuck along the way. A half mile from our house she found the first plowed road - the dirt road our house was on! She got the car hung up on the drift the plow had piled up. The second time was when I was doing a 3 point turn on a narrow dirt road. I drove part way up on an embankment on one side of the road then managed to back the rear wheels off the road on the other side right where a culvert went under the road. Car stopped on its frame with the rear wheels hanging in the air. My buddy & I picked up the rear corners while his girlfriend drove it out. No worries.
    * What’s parked in your driveway now? Right now I’m driving a 1998 Fort Taurus. I had to turn in my company car when I left my job to start my own business at the first of the year so I found a good deal on an inexpensive, low mileage car and paid cash for it. Since my commute is literally 50 feet across my house right now I don’t put all that many miles on it.
    * Does your car reflect your personality? Only in so far as it reflects my determination to make wise financial decisions to see my business grow successfully.
    * Favorite vehicle(s)? A Mercedes E350 or SLK 350
    * Favorite vehicle…if money were no object? Oh, it would have to be the Mercedes SLR. Definitely.
    * Vanity Plates? Not in years. When I was young & dumb I had plates that said “AMOK”. Of course I was mostly driving Mustang GT’s & Corvettes or motorcycles back then.
    * Must have car gadget? Some way to connect the iPod with the stereo. Tuneage is a requirement on the highway.
    * Favorite driving tunes? 80’s Rock, especially early U2.
    * Favorite Hollywood movie car? Though it’s not a car I always thought the Harley Fatboy in Terminator 2 was totally cool. I kind of like Michael Weston’s old Dodge Charger in Burn Notice now that it’s been fixed up, ‘course that’s a TV car. If it had to be a movie car, the Ferrari 550 Maranello that Nicolas Cage drove in Family Man was off the charts.

    There you go Eric!

    Enjoy!
